I hung out with people who were waiting in line for Star Wars: Episode 1 in 1999 in Iowa City and interviewed them about their memories of the first time they saw one of the Star Wars movies. I always meant to transcribe the tapes (which I still have) and write something about them, but I never got around to it.

heh, the last thing i waited in line for was the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Expansion Pack. i am not sure if that is more geeky or less geeky than waiting for an iphone!
