I live in an old and cold house that has flakey central heating...on the days it doesnt work (more often than not) I put a couple of heaters for 30 mins or so around in strategic positions and it takes the edge off the cold... Mind you with the temps wwe have been getting over here for the last couple of winters, I dont think we will get another cold winter again... 57 degrees at 11 pm, where it should be way lower.
