Jack's Daily Excerpt:
We're in serious fjord country now, heading into a wind that gusts up to 100mph. I try going to the bow, out on the deck, and I almost get blown over. The folks in the forward observation lounge are looking at me like I'm crazy, and I think I must be. Not even the derring-do high school malcontents are outside now. Even holding onto my hat it gets blown off, and I have to chase it downwind on an ice-slippery deck Charlie Chaplin style, scuttling, hunched over, trying to deal with an eminently rational get-blown-over-the-side-into-hypothermia-inducing-water phobia as I make after the errant cap.
