You can view past wrap-ups here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2020\/01\/wraps-ups\">2019<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2021\/01\/wraps-ups-ii\">2020<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2022\/01\/wraps-ups-iii\">2021<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2023\/01\/wraps-up-iv\">2022<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2024\/02\/wraps-up-v\">2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.librarian.net\/stax\/5636\/2024-in-libraries\/\">libraries visited<\/a> \u2013 I should get to some of those libraries still on my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/iamthebestartist\/albums\/72157637745168683\">Vermont 183 List<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.librarian.net\/stax\/5640\/2024-reading-list-and-commentary\/\">books read<\/a> \u2013 big year for reading for various &#8220;getting better now&#8221; reasons<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jessamyn.com\/journal\/2025\/01\/my-year-in-cities-and-towns-2024\">places stayed<\/a> \u2013 I&#8217;ve been fine with my decision to travel less for work but I should still travel a bit more for fun<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.librarian.net\/stax\/5647\/wikipedia-work-in-2024\/\">Wikipedia work<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;ve added a new category!\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ve now <a href=\"https:\/\/glammr.us\/@jessamyn\">completely moved over to Mastodon<\/a> and I like it there. <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/librarian.bsky.social\">I am also on Bluesky<\/a> which is fun in its own way. I still have accounts on all the Big Platforms, but I&#8217;m there a lot less often. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/iamthebestartist\/\">I do put pictures on Flickr<\/a> if you want to follow along. Biggest deal of the past year was that I&#8217;m no longer the legal owner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metafilter.com\/\">MetaFilter<\/a>; it&#8217;s been transitioned into a community-owned model and while the site is still going to have some challenges, I was (mostly) happy to have been able to help it stay afloat. <a href=\"https:\/\/mltshp.com\/\">MLTSHP<\/a> is still run by the community, with paperwork and legal stuff mainly done by me, and it&#8217;s delightful.<\/p>\n<p>My regular job has been going mostly well. I&#8217;ve gotten to oversee adding more people to Flickr Commons which is pretty exciting. <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.flickr.org\/\">There&#8217;s a fun content browser here<\/a> if you&#8217;d like to see what kind of stuff is there. My house remains standing despite all my concerns that it&#8217;s falling apart. Jim and I saw the total solar eclipse from a few miles up the road and it was transcendent.
